The Joint Bid Committee for the 2027 World University Games Chungcheongnam-do has applied to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to establish a corporation to form the organizing committee.
Previously, the bid committee had tried to hold another founding meeting to change the articles of association by removing the secretary-general 메이저놀이터 selected by public vote after a conflict with the Korea Olympic Committee, but faced opposition from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and applied to establish a corporation with a secretary-general and two full-time vice presidents, which was decided at the first founding meeting.
