Busan Haeundae-gu FC U15, Gyeongnam Treasure Island Namhae Sports Club U15, Jeonnam Suncheon FC U15, and Seoul Dunchon Middle School went straight to the quarterfinals of the 60th Cheongryonggi National Middle School Football Championship.
On the 9th, as a result of the 3rd round of the group stage of the Cheongryonggi competition held at Goseong-gun Sports Park 3 and 4 and Hwahwa-myeon Sports Park in Gyeongnam, all 12 teams were covered.
Haeundaegu FC, Suncheon FC, Treasure Island Namhae, Dunchon Middle School, Gyeongnam Goseong FC U15, and Busan FC SAHA U15 took first place in the group respectively. Busan Gangseo FC U15, Gyeongnam Masan Jungang FC U15, Seoul Open Middle School, Gyeongnam Changnyeong FC U15, Jeonbuk Wanju FC U15, and Seoul Gwanghee Middle School each advanced to the finals by finishing second in their group.

Group 1’s Haeundaegu FC and Masan Joongang FC drew 1-1 in the final match of the group stage. Masan Joongang FC took the lead with Lee Young-min’s first goal in the 21st minute of the first half, but Baek Chae-hyeon of Haeundaegu FC equalized in the 10th minute of the second half. In Group 3, Treasure Island Namhae, who had already qualified for the finals with two consecutive wins, drew 1-1 with Busan Deokcheon SC U15. Treasure Island Namhae comfortably took first place in the group with 2 wins, 1 draw and 7 points. Gaewonjung, who beat Gyeongnam FC U15 at the beginning of the year 2-1, rose to second place in the group with 4 points (1 win, 1 draw, 1 loss). Group 4’s Dunchonjung, which also confirmed its advance to the finals with two consecutive wins, was hit by Gyeongnam Jinju FC U15. In the 22nd minute of the first half, Dunchon Middle School gave up the first goal to Woojin Jeong of Jinju FC, and Moojin Kim scored in the 14th minute of the second half to balance the game 1-1. In Group 5, Goseong FC defeated Busan I’Park Football Academy U15 5-0 with Baek Su-yang’s multi-goal. Wanju FC defeated the underdog Daegu FC Cannon U15 11-0. Wanju FC’s Lee Yong-hyun set off a ‘goal firecracker’ that scored 8 goals alone. Goseong FC and Wanju FC were tied with 2 wins, 1 draw and 7 points, but Goseong FC (+17 goals) took first place in the group, ahead in goal difference. Wanju FC (+15 goals) unfortunately finished second in the group and made it to the round of 12.
FC SAHA, the winners of the previous tournament, defeated Kwang Hee-joong 2-0 and secured 6 points (2 wins) to take first place in the group. In the 20th and 26th minutes of the first half, Baek Joo-ho scored consecutive goals to lead the team to victory. With 1 win and 1 loss (3 points), Kwang Hee-joong took 2nd place in the group.
The 12 teams that succeeded in advancing to the round of 12 held a lottery for the main tournament at the National Sports Center in Goseong-gun on the morning of the 10th. Four of the first-place teams in each group advance directly to the quarterfinals, and the two first-place teams and the six second-place teams in each group will face off to advance to the quarterfinals.
