SSG Landers rookie Song Young-jin, who has been performing well on the mound, left the game in the second inning.

He started the home game against the LG Twins in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on the 25th. After Kim Hyun-soo walked, Austin was hit by a pitch to load the bases again, but Song Young-jin got Oh Ji-hwan and Moon Bo-kyung to fly out to second and ground out, respectively, to get out of the jam. After throwing 55 pitches in the second inning, Song finally gave way to Baek Seung-gun in the third. Of his 55 pitches, he threw 31 balls, which outnumbered strikes (24).
