Miller spoke with The Athletic on Friday (Nov. 25) and expressed his excitement for the upcoming draft.

He averaged 18.8 points and 8.2 rebounds on 43% shooting from the field and 38% from three-point range in 37 games in the 2022-2023 college season. “I look up to Paul George as a role model. I’ve mixed a little bit of my style into his game. I like him better when he was in Indiana. I like the George that plays for the Clippers now, but I think his best years were in Indiana.”
He vowed not to be a halfling. “I have a lot of pride in my defense. On offense, you’re going to have ups and downs. You have to be able to contribute on both sides of the ball. I’m going to focus on the little things, like diving and drawing fouls on attackers.”
“My goal is to be a vocal leader. In high school, I didn’t talk much. But in college, I became a vocal leader. I want to continue that in the NBA.”
