have been identified.
“The police have identified three fans who committed racist acts against Vinicius during the recent match against Real,” Valencia announced on its official website on Wednesday.
Vinicius was racially abused by Valencia home fans during the Valencia-Real match in the 35th round of the 2022/23 La Liga season on April 22.
The Valencia fans in the stadium taunted Vinicius by calling him a “monkey”. This is a clear racist act that equates black people with monkeys.
At this point, Vinicius’ patience was at an end, and he lost his temper, lashing out at the crowd. Real players, Valencia players, and even the referee had to step in to calm him down.
The incident became so controversial that 메이저놀이터 Valencia immediately launched an investigation and managed to identify three spectators who were responsible for the racist behavior.
“We are cooperating with the investigation to eliminate racism and reiterate our position that we are against all forms of racism and violence,” said Valencia.
“All those identified will be subject to the harshest measures, including permanent expulsion from the stadium. Valencia does not associate with racism and does not tolerate racists.”
The club also emphasized that they had found the culprits and were against racism, while refuting claims that all fans in the stadium were racist.
After the game, Real coach Carlo Ancelotti said that “the whole stadium was chanting “monkey, monkey, monkey,” prompting Valencia to respond.
“The Real game was broadcast live and the claim that the entire stadium was shouting racist insults is completely false,” Valencia insisted.
“There is no place for racism in football or in society,” the club concluded, “and Valencia strongly condemns racism.”
